Living Beautifully: with Uncertainty and Change Tuesdays
Mar 9 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Learn to live a beautiful life even with uncertainty and change.

Begins on Tuesday, March 9th for 8-weeks.  7:00 pm

This class uses the book by Pema Chodron, “Living Beautifully: with Uncertainty and Change”

We live in difficult times.
Life so often seems like a turbulent river threatening to drown us and destroy our world. Why, then, shouldn’t we cling to the certainty of the comfortable—to our deep-seated habits and familiar ways? Because Pema Chödrön teaches, that kind of fear-based clinging keeps us from the infinitely more powerful experience of being fully alive.

The teachings she presents here—known as the “Three Commitments”—provide a treasure trove of wisdom for learning to step right into the unknown, to completely and fearlessly embrace the groundlessness of being human. When we do, we begin to see not only how much better it feels to live an openhearted life, but we find that we begin to naturally and more effectively reach out to help and heal all those around us.

Begins on Tuesday, March 9th –  Join us for this 8-week class at 7:00 pm for about 2 hours, where we will dive deep into the teachings and learn to live beautifully together.

With Lisa Ferraro and Dr. David Leonard

Cost: $99

Women of Color Writing Experience

“We know ourselves by our words, we transform ourselves rewriting our story”

Reverend Christie Hardwick

I’ve been inspired to offer a series of workshops exploring writing as a spiritual practice. Recently a fellow writer requested a session dedicated to women of color.

I am happy to announce a course specifically for women of color who want to reveal and heal through their writing in a supportive space.
We’ll combine the use of meditation, prompts, freewriting, and writing assignments. We will share insights, breakthroughs and have different folks share their writing (voluntary) each session.
The sessions will be held on Zoom from 5:00 -7:00 pm Eastern on the first and third Monday of the month.
We’ll start on March 1st at 5 pm eastern.  You can join for a season or the whole year!
The first season will run March through May and include six two hour sessions.
The fee is a sliding scale of $60-$200 for the entire season.
I hope you will join me and if it’s not for you please share with someone you think might be interested.
Rev. Christie is a former high-tech executive, an ordained minister, leadership coach, and master facilitator. She is faculty for The American Leadership Forum, The Institute for Women’s Leadership, and the Institute for Leadership and Life-Long Learning International.
